The two-year full-time Post Graduate Diploma in Management (PGDM) – 2nd Shift (PGDM) is an AICTE approved PGDM Autonomous course. The PGDM course has been designed considering the Industry requirements and gives the students a head start in the chosen functional area. Special Topics in the PGDM Syllabus include the latest updates and developments to make the student industry-ready. The PGDM specialization is taken up in the second semester to focus the studies on the functional area of the student.
It has always been the Endeavour of the group to provide a stimulating environment and offer more than classroom lectures. The Career & Leadership Development Program incorporates a weekly interaction with senior members of the industry and experts from various fields who share their experiences with the students. This will not only expose students to the practical reality but also lead to a better understanding of the theory being taught and its applications.
At Indira Institute of Management Pune (IIMP) – PGDM students eagerly await their structured overseas visit. This is termed as our International Campus Enrichment (ICE) program. The PGDM batch of 2018-20 visited UAE (Dubai, Abu Dhabi, and Sharjah) Earlier batches have visited either Singapore or UAE. These overseas visits are organized so students to get not only international academic exposure but also understand historical, cultural, social, political, geographical, and importantly…economic aspects of these regions vis-à-vis world trade.
Culture brings great understanding; PGDM students thus enjoyed a lot at the Singapore World-renowned tourist centers like- Sentosa, Merlion, Singapore Flyer, Orchid Street, Jurong Bird Park, Singapore Zoo and many more places. In UAE, our students visited monuments like Burj Khalifa, Mall of Dubai, Masdar City, Sports City, Desert Safari, and numerous other attractions.
Our PGDM course fees also include a laptop/tablet that is given to our students. This, coupled with our Wi-Fi campuses, gives our students the edge over other students when entering into the corporate world. IIMP students participate in various inter-collegiate fests and management games. This allows our PGDM students to gauge the strengths and weaknesses of the students of other colleges and, in turn, improve on their abilities.
