IBSAT 2026 registration will start on July 1, 2026, at ibsindia.org for those students who wish to do the MBA/PGPM programmes at IBS campuses. What is IBSAT?

IBS Aptitude Test or IBSAT is a national, level entrance exam that is conducted by IBS Hyderabad to offer MBA or PGPM courses. The score of IBSAT can be used for admission to nine ICFAI Business Schools (IBS) that include IBS Hyderabad, IBS Mumbai, IBS Bengaluru, IBS Pune, IBS Gurgaon, IBS Kolkata, IBS Ahmedabad, IBS Jaipur, and IBS Dehradun.IBSAT is a two hour computer based test (CBT) with multiple choice questions. IBSAT is a computer- based test (CBT) that is usually held on two different days in December.The selected candidates will first have to attend the selection briefing round and then appear in the final selection rounds that include Micro Presentation and Personal Interview (PI) rounds.

IBSAT 2026 Eligibility Criteria

Candidates aspiring to get admission to the MBA/PGDM programmes offered at IBS campuses will be required to meet the prescribed IBSAT 2026 eligibility criteria. Applicants who do not satisfy the eligibility requirements may not be considered for admission.

  • Candidates must hold a bachelor’s degree or an equivalent qualification in any discipline with at least 50% aggregate marks.

  • Applicants who have not completed their graduation in the English medium will be required to submit valid TOEFL, IELTS or NELT scores.

  • Final-year undergraduate students will also be eligible to apply for IBSAT 2026, subject to completion of graduation within the stipulated timeline.

  • Candidates possessing valid GMAT, CAT or NMAT by GMAC scores will be exempted from appearing for the IBSAT 2026 exam and can directly apply for the IBS selection process.

IBSAT 2026 Registration Process

The IBSAT 2026 registration process is expected to begin in July 2026 and will continue until the third week of December 2026. IBSAT (ICFAI Business School Aptitude Test) is conducted by IBS for admission into its MBA/PGPM programs across various IBS campuses in India. The registration process is completely online, and candidates must carefully fill in their personal, academic, and contact details before submitting the application form.

Candidates can apply through the official IBS website by creating a login ID and password. After successful registration and fee payment, applicants will receive confirmation along with login credentials to access the admit card and further updates.

Documentation & Verification

Candidates shortlisted for the IBSAT Selection Process (Micro Presentation & Personal Interview) will be required to present original documents along with self-attested photocopies for verification. Exam Pattern

The IBSAT 2026 exam will be conducted in online (computer-based) mode and is designed to assess a candidate’s aptitude in English proficiency, quantitative ability, data interpretation, and logical reasoning. The test is typically conducted over a multi-day window in December.
