SVKM's NMIMS is the conducting body of the NPAT (NMIMS Programs After Twelfth) 2026 examination that opens the doors of undergraduate programs such as BA, BCom, BSc, and BBA in its seven campuses. Candidates who have secured a minimum aggregate of 60 percent in Class 12 or are appearing are eligible to register for the exam.

 The score used for admission will be the highest one among all three attempts. NMIMS, through the NPAT examination, is setting aside more than 1400 seats for BBA programs only, and based on the merit of the candidates, admission will be granted at all seven NMIMS campuses. What is NMIMS NPAT?

SVKMs NMIMS is responsible for the NPAT exam for admission to the various UG courses offered by different NMIMS campuses. NPAT stands for NMIMS Programs After Twelfth.Students who want to get BBA, BSc (Finance), BSc (Economics), BCom (Hons.), B.A. (Hons) Liberal Arts, BMM, etc., can take the NMIMS NPAT test.NPAT scores are accepted for admission at NMIMS campuses in Mumbai, Shirpur, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Navi Mumbai, Indore, and Dhule.The exam is conducted as a computer, based test from the test centre. NPAT 2026 Eligibility Criteria

Candidates seeking admission through NPAT 2026 must meet the following eligibility requirements:

Educational Qualifications

  • Applicants should have passed their Class 12 examination. International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma holders can also apply if they have taken Mathematics or Statistics as their major subjects.

  • However, candidates who completed their 10+2 education via open or distance learning programs can only apply if their institution is recognized by the National Institute of Open Schooling (NIOS). All applicants must have obtained at least 60 percent aggregate score in Class 12.

  • Furthermore, it should be emphasized that those candidates who have failed in their 10+2 examination and passed only on the second attempt will not be eligible for NPAT 2026.

Age Requirements

The upper age limit for NPAT 2026 is 25 years. Candidates exceeding this age are not eligible to appear for the examination. SVKM has not established a minimum age requirement for this year's exam.

NPAT 2026 Registration Process

The NPAT 2026 registration is going to be done purely online via the official NMIMS website. Fresh registration is mandatory for all candidates including those who have applied in the past. The application process is straightforward and easy to navigate. The following are the step, by, step instructions to register for NPAT 2026:

  • Visit the Official Portal – Go to www.npat.in or www.nmims.edu and click on the “Apply Now” option.

  • Create Your Login – Register using your name, email ID, and mobile number to generate login credentials.

  • OTP Verification – Verify your registered email ID and mobile number through the OTP sent.

  • Fill Application Form – Enter personal details, academic qualifications, and contact information accurately.

  • Upload Documents – Upload a recent passport-sized photograph as per the prescribed format and size.

  • Select Programs & Test Centres – Choose the NMIMS programs you are applying for and select your preferred test cities.

  • Pay Application Fee – Complete the payment to successfully submit your application.

After qualifying for NPAT 2026, candidates must complete the documentation and verification process to confirm their admission. NPAT 2026 Exam Pattern 

The NPAT 2026 exam pattern is designed to evaluate candidates on their quantitative ability, reasoning skills, and language proficiency. The exam is conducted in an online computer-based mode and consists of multiple-choice questions (MCQs). The total duration of the test is 120 minutes, and candidates must attempt all sections within the allotted time. There is no negative marking, which allows students to attempt all questions without the fear of penalty.
