
Govind Ballabh Pant University of Agriculture and Technology was established in 1960 and is located in Pantnagar, Uttarakhand. It was India’s first agricultural university and is situated in the fertile Terai region at the foothills of the Himalayas.The university offers education in agriculture, veterinary science, engineering, and home science. It follows a land-grant model with strong emphasis on teaching, research, and extension education.
